CARLISLE, UNITED KINGDOM --- A terrified widow has called in a catholic priest for a spiritual cleansing after she says an image of her dead husbands face has appeared on her bedroom wall.
Andrea Samuels, 41, said that strange paranormal activity has been happening in her Carlisle home for several months, following the death of her late husband, Brian Samuels, who died four years ago. "New furniture has mysteriously broken and pictures keep falling off walls" Andrea Samuels said.
In addition to the strange happenings, Andrea Samuels said that her pet bird, named Spirit, has flown away, and she believes the bird was let loose from the ghosts haunting her home, one of which she believes is her dead husband, Brian Samuels.
After she believed the face of her dead husband appeared on her bedroom wall, Andrea Samuels decided to call in Father Dadson, a priest with Saint Bede's Catholic Church ."I saw something on the wall that appeared as an image of a man" said Father Dadson.
Father Dadson relocated to Carlisle in January, after working as a priest in Botswana, and his native, Nigeria, for 13 years. He said this is the second time this year that he has been asked to perform a spiritual cleansing in the city. Father Dadson believes that paranormal activity is sometimes brought on by people's actions. "In some houses things have been done, maybe people have carried out some kind of sacrifice or other activity that influences people with the forces of evil."Father Dadson explained.
A spiritual cleansing was performed in the home on Wednesday, which includes prayers and spreading holy water throughout the house. Whether or not the image that appeared on her bedroom wall is her dead husband, Andrea Samuels said the experience has helped to renew her religious faith, but she hopes that the paranormal activity in her home will stop so that she can move on with her life.

Comment by JJKypta on November 21, 2012 at 1:54pm As far as the image being a "water stain" I am not sure, I think if it appeared suddenly . . . It would not be a water stain. It certainly does look like an image of a man. Does she have any photos to hold next to the image to show proof, that it could be her husband?
Comment by Violet Riot on November 8, 2012 at 5:21pm I couldn't say. The first step would be to check for water damage and leaking in that wall. To me, it's not detailed enough to say that it's definitely a mans face. It resembles one, but we're not even seeing it straight on either.
Comment by Bruce Eyster on October 8, 2012 at 9:46pm This doesn't look like a water stain , mold ; maybe but it does appear , from this "side angle" to appear to be a bigger , than life portrait - and yes , it has the same qualities of a charcoal drawing . Unexplained images of some recently deceased people have been reported all through history . The shroud of Turin , for example , still presents a series of unanswered questions . I would like to see a straight on photograph of this apparition and hear any follow ups .

Comment by christie bartlett on September 15, 2012 at 10:37am I know this is possible and she isnt the only one to see the face of a loved one on a wall who recently passed away. My step-grandmother saw the face of her son and my step-dad a month after his murder. Some people said it was water leaking in however there was no water trail which would have been seen in the one level home. Not to mention that it was on a wall in the center of the house.

I have seen near-burnt impressions left on carpeting, walls, etc. However, this appears to be so perfect and looks like charcoal penciling. To be accurate, I believe one would have to have a physical sample of this and many more photos. Although it would be wonderful for this to be a spirit connection for the lady, we must keep level heads and rule a lot of things out. My best wishes go with the woman, as I was widowed once too.

Comment by Sonshine Paranormal on September 13, 2012 at 11:37am the size of it and detale look to me like maybe charcoal drawing or possible water stain or even black smoke off a lit candle( soot) . Most folks that i have run into whould not want there loved one ran off in less they were a bad person to begain with.I have seen some images on walls before but this one looks like it was drawn or its a great image.
