HAUGHTON,  LOUISIANA --- The employees of Stocky's Pizza restaurant frighteningly believe that the pizza shop is haunted, and after finally catching some paranormal activity on a surveillance camera, they think this video will prove that ghosts are haunting Stocky's Pizza.

Stocky's Pizza employee, Lori Evans, said that she arrived to work in the morning of July 14th, 2012 and found an ice scooper in the middle of the kitchen floor. "The scoop is normally kept on a tray on top of the ice machine and that's exactly where it was when employees closed the night before." Lori Evans said.

The employees of Stocky's Pizza have reported several incidents of paranormal activity in the past, and this made Lori Evans curious to check the surveillance footage from the night before, looking for an explanation for the moved ice scooper. She was frightened to learn exactly how the ice scooper got onto the floor, and believes poltergeist activity from a ghost haunting the pizza shop is the cause, which you can see for yourself in the video below...

Lori Evans said the video (above) was recorded at 6:00am, and there wasn't anyone inside the pizza restaurant for several hours before, or after, the time that this poltergeist activity was caught on camera.

“The first thing that happened was when I was standing in the kitchen area at the dough roller working. All of a sudden a bottle of Tabasco [sic] sauce hit me in the back then landed on the ground. I looked back because the bottle had been on top of the microwave. A server who was in the dining area actually saw it happen and we were both freaked out because it flew across room as opposed to just falling from its spot! We started wondering at that point. The Tabasco sauce has been mysteriously thrown several times and busted on one occasion!

Another time was when we were working and heard a loud crash in the back hall. When we went to see what it was, there was a broom and a dust pan both on the floor. They “snap” into a holder on the wall so they are never on the floor. They’d been hanging there fine all day with no problems and snap into separate holders, yet both fell?

The motion sensors have gone off twice and the alarm company has called the owner to come out and check; to find nothing. Several of us have actually “felt” a presence and had the hair stand up on our arms/neck. When I came in that morning and found those on the floor, so far from their spot, I knew it was time to check it out on tape and we finally found evidence of paranormal activity!"

Before Stocky's Pizza took over the location of this business, it was previously leased to Walker Brothers Convenience Store, and during that time, there was a fatal car accident on the premises. A car crashed through the wall of the convenience store, which is now Stocky's Pizza, and the woman driving the car was pronounced dead at the scene. Lori Evans believe that either this woman is haunting the pizza restaurant, or might be the cause of the paranormal activity, and notable poltergeist activity seen in this video.

It's interesting...I'm curious as to why they didn't start checking the cameras from the beginning, when the Tabsco sauce bottles were being thrown. As for who it is, it very well could be the car crash victim, but it could also be old owners of the property, maybe former customers...you just never know.

First, if no one was in there then why do I hear talking? Second..you can see what threw that in the left corner and it is visible to the end of the video. In fact...you are able to see it better when you get the close-up of whatever that is on the floor.

Comment by M. Roger Bouffard on September 16, 2012 at 9:38am

you would think that if there have so many claims of activity, someone would have thought to go over the footage earlier...just think of what they could find if they went back and looked over all the footage, maybe even start to set up some more cameras just in case.. Even smarter people would call a group to come inand investigate the place and surrounding areas looking for more options like ley lines or older tragic events, there are so many factors in a haunting. but i wont be so quick to blame a tragic event on a solid reason for a haunting.. people have been dying since the dawn of man, so why does a recent event have to be the best reason? Heck, ive heard of places being haunted by cavemen, imagine how long those souls have been roaming listlessly?

Comment by Just*Plain*Robbin on September 16, 2012 at 9:34am

My feeling is that this is not connected to the fatal car accident.  This is a male presence connected to the building.  As far as poltergeist or not...a ghost is a ghost is a ghost in my opinion.  One that hangs around a public place like that is going to have more energy to play with.

@Carol Stanley --- If nothing or nobody caused it to be thrown, then how doesn't it prove poltergeist activity? I don't understand what you mean by that, since poltergeist activity is exactly what's happening in the video, when things are moved and thrown, it's part of the classic definition of poltergeist activity.

Comment by Carol Stanley on September 15, 2012 at 11:44pm

It was definitely thrown! It doesn't prove poltergeist, however.

Comment by Heather Barros on September 15, 2012 at 11:37pm

At first I thought that it might have just fallen off the top of the ice machine, but after watching the video again I agree with "Love Paranormal" that it doesn't just fall off, and looks to be tossed across the room. I wonder if this place would allow a paranormal group to investigate the place since so many employees of the pizza restaurant are saying paranormal activity happens a lot...

Paranormal Activity 5 Coming Halloween 2013 - Will You Watch It?

HOLLYWOOD, CA --- It might not come as a surprise, but Paranormal Activity 5 is scheduled to hit movie theaters by Halloween 2013... Haunted Society is wondering will you be watching it, or are the movie makers wearing out their welcome with another sequel?

Paranormal Activity began as a low budget 'lost tape' docu-style movie back in 2007, but the success of the film motivated the movie makes to continue the legacy of the horror movie with a sequel the following year, and now every year since, a new Paranormal Activity has been released in movie theaters every Halloween season to follow.

Although the movie has received mixed reviews, and more film critics are weighing in with negative movie reviews, Paranormal Activity still seems to be leading box office sales year after year.

So, is it time for another horror movie to hit theaters during Halloween 2013 to give the Paranormal Activity franchise some competition? Will you be watching Paranormal Activity 5 when it's released in movie theaters Halloween 2013? Or do you think enough is enough, and it's time for the filmmakers to retire the Paranormal Activity franchise? Haunted Society would like to hear your thoughts. Comment below with your opinion.. and if you're not yet a member of Haunted Society Paranormal Network... Join Here. Na, I'm not impressed with the Paranormal Activity movies. I guess because I know it is just a movie, and it's just alittle over the top for me. I have enough "paranormal activity" in real life and it isn't made up or scripted. So I think I'll pass on that one.

Comment by Connie Johnson on November 29, 2012 at 11:51am

The very first Paranormal Activity movie was for me the only one that was really good. The rest of them would start out good and kind of lose it's flavor in the middle and sizzled out towards the end. I hope this one is better. I will watch it.

Comment by James spencer Warfield on November 26, 2012 at 8:14pm

I have not seen a movie in a theater in many years because I am open here in my haunted, haunted house waiting for possible customers to arrive and I'm am open every night of the year.

When the business slows down , like now, we will see some TV series on the computer screen that are a few years old. We have watched complete series from start to finish (with no commercial interuptions!!!)

Heck , we have seen some hokey paranormal investigations right here inside our house, why pay to see the same thing in a movie theater? Like people who forget to hit "Record", then things happen , we see them happening  and nothing gets recorded! Please tell my WHY we are up at 3AM with you people again? "GGRR!"

Comment by Cheryl Ann Fletcher on November 26, 2012 at 7:12pm

I totally agree, with Carlo... ;)

Comment by Carlo J Vella on November 26, 2012 at 6:27pm

I am so tired of the Paranormal films and even tired of all these pathetic lost footage/cam movies. Enough os enough! They are not scary and so over the top. I definitely will NOT pay to see it.

Family's Haunted House Inspires New Paranormal Activity Documentary

Family's Experience Inside A Haunted House With A Dark History Is The Inspiration of A New Paranormal Activity Themed Documentary - Haunted Society Paranormal News -  Subscribe To Our Paranormal News Feed Here

Article By: Phillip Brunelle
www.HauntedSociety.com

CHRISTCHURCH, NEW ZEALAND --- A family of six moved into a house with a dark history, ignoring the tragic and mysterious events that took place inside the home. Months later, the family's experience in this house is now the inspiration behind a new paranormal activity themed documentary.

In May 2010, a mother and her two daughters were found dead inside the home. Four days later, a man who was identified as the woman's husband, was found dead inside his car, parked a block away from the house. According to Christchurch authorities, the mysterious nature of the brutal crime remains unsolved.

The new homeowners moved into the house earlier this year. They were a "little nervous" when the real estate agent told them about the mysterious deaths inside the home, but they decided to move forward with the purchase anyways. Now they say "strange things" started happening from day one.

The 41-year-old father of the household, who asked to be unnamed, said he was not a strong believer in the paranormal, but strange things were happening that he just could not explain. "We're not drug-addicted hippies who hang wind chimes from the trees, we're an average, normal family. But all six of us, and even the dog, have been picking up weird things."

Despite trying to "keep the children out of it", he said his five-year-old daughter was found talking to herself in her room, and later came downstairs and said that she was talking to a "little girl".

The family heard furniture moving in the lounge nearly every night, experienced "horrible sulfur smells that burned your eyes", witnessed light bulbs blow continually throughout the house, and their dog is often seen growling at nothing.

They first believed that their "minds were playing tricks on us", but now they believe their house is haunted. The family didn't want to move out, but they didn't know what to do, so they called in Christchurch Paranormal Investigators, and they had the house "cleansed" by a priest.

Anton Heyrick, lead paranormal investigator for Christchurch Paranormal Investigators, sent the family away for a weekend to investigate the house. The ghost hunting team set up video cameras and voice recorders in every room, and brought in thermal and infra-red cameras and other paranormal investigation equipment. "We are 95 per cent sure there is paranormal activity here - that means we can't explain the things that are happening or what we are hearing."

After a "full paranormal investigation" of the house, Anton Heyrick said he found "compelling evidence of paranormal activity". The ghost hunting group filmed their entire investigation, and Anton Heyrick plans on making a documentary using the investigation footage, on-camera interviews with the family, and further filming inside the haunted house.

New Zealand Skeptics spokeswoman, Vicki Hyde, is concerned that the documentary might resemble a "B-grade special effects horror movie", but said that she's interested in seeing the documentary.

"There have been so many ghost investigations, none of which have ever come up with anything." Vicki Hyde said. "We should be treating these things as light entertainment, but the problem is people can be vulnerable to ghost stories." Vicki Hyde also raised concern that the documentary would exploit the family.

The father conceded light bulbs blowing might be faulty wiring, the sulfur smells could be from a burst pipe, and his five-year-old daughter might have a "wild imagination", but said he was not trying to "convert" anyone into believing in ghosts, or that there is in face paranormal activity in their home.

"The house may or may not have electrical issues, and people are going to believe what they want to. But if there is such a thing as spirits, and they happen to be here, then that's fine. We're happy for them to open wardrobe doors and run up and down the stairs - we just don't want it turning malicious. To be honest, I've started to get used to it."

Anton Heyrick said he plans to release the Christchurch haunted house documentary sometime next year.

Have you ever experienced paranormal activity? Have you ever contacted a paranormal investigation team? Would you feel exploited if the ghost hunters turned your story into a documentary? I look forward to the documentary also.  And I also wondered if this was the actual house?  It does look like something out of a Hollywood movie.  As a paranormal investigator, you have to be your biggest skeptic.  I am.  Investigate, try to recreate, interrogate, do your best to rule out any normal reasons for the activity and document your findings.  Don't accept anything at face value.  I believe the reason that paranormal activity isn't taken seriously is because we aren't doing these things.  Good documentaries will help. Good hunting!

Comment by Franklin Clayton Townsend on September 8, 2012 at 10:12am

Any open mind required pertentant facts, not just an unproven science by which suspicions are declared fact. I do believe in the supernatural, and ghosts.. however, just because a mouse may live in a cookie jar, this does not make it a cookie. Finding out the truth, and the hidden layers of mystery are all the fun this is about. Accepting anything blindly just because someone says so robs any who may wish to push those boundaries of the fun and knowledge that could be had in their exploration. If it is real, then it can withstand questioning, can it not? I don't doubt anyplace can be haunted, but believe it or not, the haunted houses I have been to look just like anyone else's house... with the sun shining and everything. (this was my point)

About the earthquakes... what is the quartz ratio of the layers or rock beneath, or the magnetic fields of the area pre-earthquake and post earthquke? These influences also affect certain unexplained phenomenon. They can influence or enhance such experiences. If you have any of that info, it would be nice to read.

I wonder why there is no mention of paranormal activity in Japan, after the flood, earthquake and nuclear contamination?

After the massive 2 years of earth quakes the city is a hot bed for all things paranormal. haunted houses only look like this in movies... that alone makes me suspicious.

Do you believe that tragic deaths, like the fatal accident at this location, could cause places to be haunted, with instances of paranormal and poltergeist activity? Comment below with your opinion. It's interesting...I'm curious as to why they didn't start checking the cameras from the beginning, when the Tabsco sauce bottles were being thrown. As for who it is, it very well could be the car crash victim, but it could also be old owners of the property, maybe former customers...you just never know.

Never mind...I know why I hear talking. It is someone explaining the video.

First, if no one was in there then why do I hear talking? Second..you can see what threw that in the left corner and it is visible to the end of the video. In fact...you are able to see it better when you get the close-up of whatever that is on the floor.

you would think that if there have so many claims of activity, someone would have thought to go over the footage earlier...just think of what they could find if they went back and looked over all the footage, maybe even start to set up some more cameras just in case..

My feeling is that this is not connected to the fatal car accident.  This is a male presence connected to the building.  As far as poltergeist or not...a ghost is a ghost is a ghost in my opinion.  One that hangs around a public place like that is going to have more energy to play with.

Comment by Rob Wilkinson on September 16, 2012 at 4:21am That was really ineresting, it looked very real. Did not seem to be staged, could not see hidden wires or a trigger it or propel it. Comment by SpiritChaser09 on September 16, 2012 at 12:08am

Whoa!!  Dude!!!  That was AWESOME!! :O
