HOLLYWOOD, CA  --  While the new television series Haunted Highway is preparing for its July 3rd, 2012 premier on the SyFy Network, the show has been filming in several U.S. cities. During some of their recent filming in Utah, Jack Osbourne, starring paranormal investigator of Haunted Highway, made a horrifying discovery... and it wasn't a ghost.

"I was filming a TV show in Utah, and I had to do some scuba diving at night in a cold lake," Jack Osbourne explained. "When I came out, I had a headache, so I went back to the hotel to sleep. The next day, the vision in my right eye started going in and out of focus. Later that evening, a black dot appeared in the same eye. When I woke up the next day the dot had turned into a cigar shape, and eventually it turned into a big blind spot in the middle of my eye."

Jack Osborne said that he was seen by his doctor as soon as he returned to Los Angeles after filming the episode of Haunted Highway in Utah. Osbourne's doctor referred him to the Cedars Sinai Hospital, where he was shocked to hear the doctors diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis.

Multiple Sclerosis is a central nervous system disease that affects the control and strength of the body's muscles, and impairs balance, vision and brain function. It's unclear at this time what stage of Multiple Sclerosis Jack Osbourne has been diagnosed with.

News of his diagnosis comes two weeks after the birth of Jack Osbourne's daughter, Pearl Clementine, who Osbourne said is a very happy and healthy newborn baby. "I was just angry and frustrated and kept thinking, 'Why now?'" Osbourne said. "I've got a family and that's what's supposed to be most important."

As of right now, it's expected that Jack Osbourne will continue filming for the new television series Haunted Highway, which premiers on the SyFy Network on Tuesday, July 3rd, 2012. However, once Jack Osbourne gets a full understanding of his Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis, the stage and treatment required, the disease very well could determine the future of Osbourne's continuation with his starring role on the new paranormal investigation television show.

While some people might think that seeing a ghost is frightening, not being able to see anything at all is a much scarier experience. Don't worry and remember that we can't change the things that happen to us. We can only try to deal with them as they come to us. At the risk of offending other members All things work for good for those who love the Lord. Have faith my friend it will be ok. If you need to talk let me know and add me as a friend because that is one thing I am good at.

I've been fighting cancer for six years now. The radiation and chemical treatments can be very tiring and stressful. When you first get to grips with having a serious desease, the future becomes indefinite. Later on, you realise you can live with the problem, and still enjoy live. The thing to do is live in the now, enjoy now, and appreciate all the good things around you we usually take for granted.

Weird that you should mention this T Tarail, this very thought crossed my mind as I was watching this episode Jack mentioned. He was under the water for too long and with no communtions... Then I realized that the disease is what it is and not possession. I get that it is genetic too and from Ozzies side of the family.

Comment by T Tarail on August 11, 2012 at 12:20pm Maybe this is aform of possession. Comment by Meredith on August 9, 2012 at 3:12pm

Congrats on your new baby. Sorry to hear about the MS diagnosis. If you aren't concerned or frightened, you are taking this well. This is a frightening diagnosis. A brother firefighter's wife was diagnosed with MS much later in life with a frightening outcome. Hopefully you will conquer this. I believe we all have an inner power to heal.

My prayers are with you!!

Jack I hope that everything will turn out ok for you. I have friends who have MS and they all are different, no two seem to be alike.  I hope with all my heart that the experience you have with this will be a milder version. I have you in my prayers. Awful time to be diagnosed with an illness just when you are starting a new program. I am not too sure how I like Haunted Highway. When Jael is on she screams way too much. I love her on Destination Truth and Fact or Fake but she screams way, way too much on Hwy.  I just cannot seem to get into this much. I will still watch now and again. I wish you luck and am sending prayers and positive thoughts your way.
