ORLANDO, FLORIDA --- The staff of the Titanic museum, with the exhibit "Titanic: The Experience" are saying that paranormal activity in the museum has increased to an all-time-high. As a result of several reports of paranormal activity, the museum said they're now offering paranormal investigation tours.

For the past five years, the staff at Titanic The Experience have encountered some strange and unexplainable events within the Titanic exhibit. “While some swear it is the spirits of the passengers and crew members of Titanic reaching out from ‘the other side’ others speculate it is their minds playing tricks on them,” said Kerri Drake, general manager of Titanic The Experience.

To put the debate to rest and get answers to the paranormal activity, Titanic The Experience hosted a paranormal investigation, and said they have compelling evidence of paranormal activity generated by those passengers and crew who were aboard the Titanic on the evening the ship met its fate.

“After conducting a ghost investigation which uncovered extensive paranormal activity, we decided we needed to share the amazing results with our visitors,” said Katherine Seymour, vice president of public relations for Premier Exhibitions. “Ghost tours will allow our guests the opportunity to get a little closer to the passengers and crew who met their fate that tragic evening.”

Many people believe that the spirits of those who lost their lives on the Titanic sometimes connect with the objects they leave behind. The staff at Titanic The Experience is unsure, but there's no denying that some creepy things are happening in the Exhibit. The actors at the museum have compiled their spookiest and most unusual stories along with lore surrounding the 'Ship of Dreams'.

“I'm a skeptic, and I encourage visitors of Titanic The Experience to prove me wrong." said Kerri Drake, she continued, "I've personally experienced odd encounters at Titanic The Experience, which have no explanation. It seems this ship and its former passengers and crew have a few more secrets to reveal”.

The ghost tours are designed for all ages and led by Titanic The Experience actors who portray notable Titanic passengers during the regular daily tours. Guests will also have an opportunity to explore the Exhibition and its authentic artifacts including a watch chain with pearls; telegraph to the main engine room; cooking pot; deck lamp; wine bottle; marble slab with cold water faucet and waste valve, and cut crystal carafe with the flag of White Star Line, the company that owned the Titanic. In addition, guests will be awed by a two-ton section of the R.M.S. Titanic’s hull - the second largest piece of Titanic ever recovered.

Titanic The Experience, an interactive exhibition which reopened in January in Orlando, Florida is now offering unique interactive ghost tours every Thursday evening at 7:00pm. This Halloween, the museum will be offering ghost tours every hour on the hour..

As you walk through it is very eerie and you can almost feel the passengers watching you as you look at the objects sometimes you get a feeling that someone is standing over you even though you're alone in the area where the objects are. send me say that you have to have a certain extrasensory perception to feel them around you I don't know if I have a heightened sense or maybe it's because of the many many years I've been a prapsychologist and working in the field but I can tell you that you do feel something is there. or perhaps it's just someone was just there either way its okay by me. the Titanic Museum is a beautiful place to go and remember a tragic event that happened a lifetime ago. I went there and took paranormal pix MANY years ago they are on our site http://www.diannespiritlight.com/. We had some cool experiences. I just hope they don't charge so much people can't get in,some of the most haunted places charge way too much~

I also have been to the Titanic Experience Exhibition and had no unusual experiences. I feel as if this is a money making idea and a good one at that as Im sure it will attract many a "ghost hunter" I am sure that any investigations held after hours will involve a fee.....but I will wait for that reply. I am surprised that they havent thought of this "Sales Idea" before now. With the recent paranormal hype I guess it is now their turn to cash in on it.....complete with actors and all eh? Well good for them and I hope any investigations will prove to be fruitfull and not too expensive. The Exhibition, even before this new approach was very interesting and well worth the time and money. We all were given tickets of real passengers and thankfully I was on First Class and "survived" the journey!!! Cudos to their Sales and Public Relations Dept for the new approach. Whetrher u r a skeptic or a hard core believe all...it should prove entertaining to say the least.

Is the same exhibit that was a traveling exhibit? The one that Ghost Hunters on SyFy investigated a couple of years ago when it was in Atlanta?

That's wonderful, Phillip. I look forward to seeing the update, and I'm also curious if they would charge for it, which I would imagine they do, but what would they charge ghost hunters to investigate after hours? I'm sure they're looking to make money, regardless of their reason for their new ghost tours, so this would only further expand their possibilities, and hopefully they'll allow, or consider it.

DARLENE -- I can certainly give Kerri, the GM, a call to ask later today, and sure, I will put in an update at the end of the article with her response.

They're allowing ghost tours, but I wonder if they would allow ghost hunters to come in for private investigations too, after business hours. Any way that you could find out for us Phillip, and update this news article?
